There are boxes everywhere, like all over the place.
Director's Statement
In an attempt to get myself to rely on visual storytelling, I wrote several scenes in this short with little to no dialogue. Possibly as a side effect of that effort, I put more focus into those scenes than the ones where the characters start talking. My mistake was to treat the scenes differently. Dialogue is a tool, and I learned through "Boxed" to treat every scene, dialogue or no, with the right visual energy for the moment.
