Synopsis
Six friends get into a series of increasingly ridiculous arguments at a dinner party that is not what it seems.

Director's Statement
On a hot day in the summer of 2019, my friend and I got in a heated and extremely silly argument about the "X-Men" franchise. Afterwards, I wrote the first draft of this screenplay. I like to see "Dinner Party!" as "1984" meets a Youtube comments section, a world where people can no longer agree to disagree.
"Dinner Party!" was completed for Georgia Tech's Campus Movie Fest 2019, where it became a finalist. Although I had to shoot the film within the week of the festival, I made sure to prepare storyboards beforehand. Since most of the movie involves a group of six sitting around a table, these preparations were essential. If I had only shot a closeup for each character and a wide shot or two, the movie would've quickly become visually dull and even worse, spatially confusing. This was my first time directing sequences with so many characters and eye-lines, and it made for a nice and necessary challenge.
